Got here straight after the plane, treated like absolute royalty ! Perfect stop for me and my friends. Super cheap deals and fantastic food, the staff were lovely. Great smokers area. Great service, perfect start to our holiday x
Fantastic place! Randomly decided to drop in for lunch after seeing the board in Sauchiehall Street while dying in the heat and was not disappointed. Lovely chill atmosphere, great music and delicious food (including a vegan menu) drink at great prices. The venue also provides free access to live music on many nights which is pretty amazing considering the cost of most gigs now. In short. Had a fantastic time here and will be back.
If you are looking for bang for your buck this is pretty much the best menu in Glasgow city centre. The daily deals are amazing. It’s a perfect lunch spot. Portions aren’t massive but enough to fill you on a lunch or quick dinner. Just be wary not to chuck in some add on purchases as they pretty much double your bill and don’t really add value for the quality you get. It’s a pub, live music venue and eatery but I see it more of a cafe diner. It’s also an abso bargain. Highly recommended!
Wed is steak night for 6! Have the Fried Sticky Toffee Pudding! Great people watching and servers were excellent. Food is served quickly.
First time here, fairly quiet and relaxed atmosphere, late afternoon on a Thursday. Barman was super friendly and helpful, a nice welcome as I was on my own. I order Lucky Saint 0% alcohol on draft which was a nice touch as you usually only get 0% in bottles. 5.50 a pint... I order the Thursday daily deal which was chicken in a basket for a fiver! A good deal and good food, pleased I decided to come here and I’ll definitely return next week when I’m back in Glasgow.
Serves Pizza until 3AM! vegan cheese options too. Great atmosphere, the place is full even on a Sunday night. Really lovely staff, world class love music. Good vibes all round. I recommend 100%! (Don't let the rubbish website put you off, give them a call to find out what's on!)
This place was new to us as we're from Wales. We went to see a friend play drums in a band there. Went with a few people without booking and it was so full definitely a popular place. The man who was at the door (don't know his name but he had red hair) he couldn't have done enough to try and accommodate us he managed to seat us all together after a quick shuffle around. He took our order food came quick it was really tasty and it was so really reasonable prices fair play. The bands were great the atmosphere was brilliant definitely recommend this place ill be going there again next time I'm up in Glasgow.
Excellent place for a gig! The staff, sound engineers and booking agent looked after us so well and were very helpful and informative, it made the whole process really smooth and a great night for everyone! Bloc is downstairs, the restaurant was full and the food looked great, lots of friendly staff, clean facilities, they cleared some space for the gig from 9pm. It was awesome, great crowd, great sound, really good space, some seating indoors, outdoor space and tables. Bands are well looked after here. Loved it, we'll definitely be back! 5*
